Add a Low Fat High Fiber Recipe to Your Meal Plan

If you’re trying to overcome obesity, having a low fat high fiber recipe in your arsenal can be a great weapon for several reasons.

The first reason why a low fat high fiber recipe can be useful is that low fat foods help you lose weight.

The calorie equation for weight loss says that you need to consume fewer calories than you burn in order to lose weight.

This means that you need to watch your calorie intake to make sure you don’t eat too much.

Because fat grams have more than twice the number of calories that carbohydrate and protein grams have, it makes sense that you should try to follow a low fat diet.

The second reason why a low fat high fiber recipe is great for losing weight and overcoming obesity is that fiber is a really healthy addition to your diet.

Fiber helps make you feel full and satisfied, meaning that you will eat less and not feel hungry.

Fiber is also great for your digestive system and helps keep your body regular.

Eating a diet that is high in fiber will help you feel healthier.

If you want to overcome obesity you’ll want to eat fewer calories and add fiber to your diet.

A low fat high fiber recipe such as this one for Black Bean Soup can help get you there. Good luck!

1 ½ Cups dried black beans
6 Cups water
2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 rib celery, with leaves, chopped
Ground black pepper
1 tsp. celery seeds
Juice of 1 ½ lemons
1 lemon, sliced paper thin, for garnish
Celery leaves, for garnish

Place the beans in a large bowl and cover with water. Add more water if necessary to cover the beans. Soak overnight.

Drain the beans and add six cups of fresh water to the bowl.

Heat the oil in a large heavy-bottomed pot over medium heat.

Add the onion, garlic and celery and cook, stirring occasionally, for five minutes or until tender.

Add the beans and water and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for two hours or until the beans are tender.

Remove half of the beans to a food processor or blender and process to puree, adding the liquid from the soup to cover.

Add the black pepper to taste and the celery seeds.

Return the pureed beans to the pot and heat, stirring, until the soup thickens. Stir in the lemon juice.

Ladle into six serving bowls and garnish with the sliced lemon and celery leaves.
