Eating a low fat diet is a great way to overcome obesity.
Fat grams contain more than twice the number of calories as carbohydrate and protein grams.
For that reason, it makes sense to try to limit the amount of fat you consume.
To lose weight, you need to consume fewer calories than you are burning off, so limiting fat means less calories, making it easier to consume fewer calories than you burn.\
Of course the other half of the equation when looking at overcoming obesity is how many calories you burn.
The more activity you engage in the more calories you will burn.
It is recommended that you exercise for thirty minutes most days of the week.
Following this recommendation will go a long way in helping you lose weight.
Back to following a low fat diet, having an easy low fat recipe or two on hand is a great way to get you started.
Once you see how great low fat food can taste you will be even more motivated to stick with your plan. Just because it’s low fat doesn’t mean it has to be bland or taste bad.
